The senior class counselor will invite the Class of 2025 to share and celebrate their post-secondary decisions: College • University • Trade School • Military • Career
🎓 Senior Scholarship Survey
📅 Due: May 1st by 3:00 PM
This important but optional survey is used to build the annual Honors Convocation Scholarship Celebration Program.
✅ Who should complete it? ALL seniors who have been awarded an academic merit-based scholarship by a college or organization—regardless of GPA.
💡 If your award is an academic merit-based scholarship, your information may be used to recognize you on stage at the Class of 2025 Honors Convocation.
Important Survey Considerations:

Please do not submit scholarships you cannot verify their authenticity in writing.

Please do not submit scholarships that are part of the Shiawassee Community Foundation (SCF) scholarship program. The Foundation holds their own celebratory scholarship event. And they confidentially provide the winners-roster to OHS and those winners will be highlighted in the printed program at Honors Convocation.
Reporting Exceptions for Senior-Athlete!

Athletic-merit scholarships awarded by a college, university, or private organizations, then this is the type of scholarship celebrated at Athletic Awards Night. In order for you to be included in the athletic-based awards night, you must report these types of awards to OHS Athletic Secretary, Mrs. JoEllen Smith.

Some athletic-merit scholarships are often one part of a scholarship award package offered by colleges or universities. If your award letter includes an additional academic-merit based scholarship, in order to be included in the Class of 2025 Honors Convocation program, then you will need to submit the Senior Scholarship Survey by the May 1st, 3 pm deadline.

🏆 Honors Convocation – May 20th
📍 By Invitation Only
You should plan to attend if any of the following are true:
✅ You have a 3.0+ cumulative GPA (7th semester) and received an official invite letter from the principal in early April.
✅ You submitted a confirmed scholarship via the Senior Scholarship Survey or spoke directly with the SSC Secretary to confirm your submission.
✅ You have a confirmed enlistment in the U.S. military and received event assignment from the principal.

📬 Pre-Order Your Final Transcript
🗓️ Now through June 30th
Your final transcript will be ready to send on or before June 30th. To access and send your FINAL transcript you can pre-order now by selecting “Hold for Grades” when ordering so it’s released after grades and senior transcripts are approved.

AUGUST 1st FEE: After a student graduates, Parchment begins charging a fee for their transcript services starting August 1st after graduation. Be sure to submit orders for your final transcript before the graduate-deadline.

SEND YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPT! Did you decide on a final post-secondary school yet? They want your final transcript, even if you sent them a transcript earlier in the school year. If you didn't already place a pre-order before June 30th, then place a new order before August 1st or you will get stuck with a fee!
